Bright summer for sellers

Award-winning estate agency Connells in Leamington Spa is urging local home owners to seize the opportunity of a sale this summer. According to the branch team, Connells is seeing more buyers, more offers on properties and more sales compared to last year.

Because of increased activity across the local housing market, Connells is advising homeowners who wish to move this summer to get in touch. In May alone, its estate agency network recorded a 7.2 per cent increase in buyers looking to purchase a home. This has fuelled a 7.3 per cent increase in offers and a 4.5 per cent increase in sales across Connells’ branches.

“Now is a great time to put your property on the market and secure a buyer,” said Carly Baskott, branch manager for Connells. “Not only are there lots of committed buyers actively seeking to purchase a home, but better weather and longer daylight hours enable homeowners to show off their properties to their maximum potential.

“This is especially true for properties with gardens as flowers will be in full bloom so a seller can make their property look its absolute best.”
