Connells supports fun day at Chase Meadow

Chase Meadow residents held their Annual Fun Day last Saturday.

There were a variety of stalls including a tombola, face painting, treasure map and nail painting, as well as a bouncy castle and a Punch and Judy show.

The Chase Meadow Community Centre Group (CMCC) and Connells had a book stall.

The Chase Meadow branch of Connells had been collecting books from residents and also provided information which included an outline plan of the proposed community centre.

St Michael’s church, Budbrooke, provided refreshments in the form of a free barbecue.

“The fun day was a complete success, with approximately 350 local residents and visitors attending,” said Connells’ residential sales manager, Julie Welch.

“We sold plenty of books and have helped raise funds for the new community centre. I enjoy getting involved and supporting the local community in every way.”
