Countrywide takes top prizes

Leading local agent Countrywide residential Lettings at Locke & England, Leamington are celebrating after the Countrywide group won numerous awards at this year’s Estate & Letting Agent Awards (Estas).

The annual awards recognise the best offices in the UK for delivering outstanding customer service. The Estas are the only awards of their kind in the industry as they are based purely on the votes of buyers, sellers and landlords.

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out among customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they received from their agent in 2010. Over 26,000 votes were received, making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry.

Countrywide’s award-winning service has earned the business 87 high-profile industry awards in the last three years, with customers voting Countrywide Best Large Estate Agency Chain and Best Large Lettings Chain at the 2011 Estate Agency of The Year Awards. Other awards include Best Surveyor at the 2011 My Introducer awards and Best Letting Agency and Best Mortgage Broker at the 2010 Negotiator Awards,

Rachel Sear, branch manager, said: “The award was announced by Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location property programme at a lavish lunch and ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane London attended by 500 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents.”
