Crabb Curtis’ mo-bro Oliver raises cash for men’s health

Oliver Jones, sales negotiator at Crabb Curtis Independent Estate Agent in Leamington has been entering into the spirit of Movember to raise awareness and money for men’s health issues.

Supported by his colleagues at Crabb Curtis, Oliver undertook the challenge to change his face for the month of November to help change the face of men’s health forever.

For the month of November, the usually smooth shaven Jones sported a fetching moustache or “Mo” and collected donations and sponsorship money for the charity.

Oliver said: “The moustache has been a talking point with many of our vendors and applicants. It is important to me to increase awareness of these issues and Movember is a fun and different approach.”

To date Oliver has raised in excess of £300 which goes toward funding for a number of men’s health projects both in the UK and globally.

Paul Averis, sales manager at Crabb Curtis, said: “We’ve had a very busy year at Crabb Curtis and I’m pleased that Oliver has found the time to participate in this event alongside three million other mo-bros.

“Aside from the money he has raised the “Mo” shows Oliver’s commitment to giving back to the community and his passion for raising awareness of men’s health issues such cancer and mental health.”

The event concluded with a visit to The Salon in Warwick Street in Leamington on Monday where Oliver waved goodbye to his moustache in the hands of owner and artisitc director Pardeep Bhachu (pictured) who performed a cut throat wet shave on the “Mo”.
