Dream job for Helena

A 23-YEAR-OLD geography graduate who did her thesis on town planning has landed her dream job as a property manager at one of Warwickshire’s top estate agencies.

Helena Obremski, who grew up in Coventry and studied at the University of Sussex, said she was delighted to be joining the lettings department of Hawkesford in Euston Place, Leamington, at a time when the lettings business is booming.

The chartered surveyors and estate agents, which also has an office in Warwick, has seen record numbers of home hunters looking for property to rent in the area since mortgages became difficult to obtain.

The department specialises in finding property for professionals in detached homes to bedsits in both rural and town locations.

Miss Obremski said: “I had some quite bad letting experiences at college, usually because the property wasn’t being professionally managed.

“I’ve seen the pitfalls and wanted to start my career with a company that had the right values.

“Hawkesford fitted the bill perfectly as a family-run business with a sound reputation.”
