Reports have suggested house prices have been rising steadily since the start of 2013. Indeed, recent figures from the Office of National Statistics state that annual house price inflation across the UK was at 3.3 per cent in July 2013, the strongest increase in six months.

With house prices rises set to continue, upsizers should consider moving as quickly as possible in order to reduce the proportionate increase between their current and onward properties.
