Heritage is still growing

Heritage Property has recently appointed new members of staff at each of its branches in Kenilworth and Leamington as part of its continued growth in the residential lettings market.

Experienced lettings negotiator Marc Gough has joined the team in Leamington from another local agent and Alex Pittaway has also joined the Kenilworth branch in the same role. This will be Kenilworth-born Alex’s first job in the industry, although his family have strong ties in the local commercial market place.

Grant Thoday, who was recently promoted to lettings manager in Leamington, said: “We’re delighted to have Marc with us. We had our year end in April and it’s been of our most successful year ever. We wanted to add to the team to make sure we continue to stay ahead of our competitors.

“We let in excess of 1000 properties per year and the reason for this because we are sufficiently staffed to do so. Any tenant registering with us will have their enquiry dealt with immediately by a skilled professional who will understand their needs and point them towards rental properties that meet their requirements.”

Marc said, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work for Heritage Property. The company is forward thinking, proactive and respected and I look forward to help the team continue to keep us ahead of the rest.”

Commenting on Alex’s appointment, John Ansell, Kenilworth branch manager, said: “We knew Alex had the personality and skills to do well and so far he’s done fantastically well and letting property at a rate that an experienced lettings negotiator would be pleased with. What’s more is that Alex has a very pleasant manner when dealing with our customers and clients and we are getting great feedback from them about their dealings with him.”

Alex said: “I am really enjoying the job. My colleagues are very helpful and I am looking forward to the rest of coming year where I will work really hard to continue to prove my worth to the business.

“Our managing director, Richard Hill, is really keen for me to gain some industry qualifications so I will also be studying hard for my ARLA exams and undertaking some training courses.”

Richard added: “We are still seeing tremendous levels of growth in the lettings sector and it’s important for us to keep ahead of our competitors by making sure that we have enough staff to deal with our customers. We continually strive to meet tenant’s needs and this often means doing evening and weekend appointments to fit in with people’s busy lifestyles.

“Having this flexible approach means our landlord’s properties are let quickly with a nominal void periods of just seven days per tenancy at least 95 per cent of the time.”
