Ladies hockey team gets new kit thanks to AP Residential

There was much excitement as the ladies were handed their new kit and Andrew and Alex Pittaway (directors of AP Residential) were there to join in the fun and have their photographs taken with the team.

Alex was formerly a member of the Coventry and North Warwickshire men’s team and was keen to help the club in any way he could. The ladies team were without a sponsor and so Alex was happy to step in and provide them with the means to buy their new kit.

Pittaways have lived and worked in Kenilworth and Coventry for over 100 years. Whilst practising as a vet, Alex’s grandfather also farmed the land around the site of the Coventry and North Warwickshire Hockey Club until the 1970s.

The family have always believed in supporting their local community. They have done this through membership of charitable organisations such as Round Table, through sporting endeavours such as fun runs and marathons and through local club sponsorships.

AP Residential is nearing the end of its first year in business as an independent lettings agency. It is part of an already established company, AP Commercial, who have let and sold over one million sq ft of property in the past two years alone.

Alex Pittaway is the main director of the lettings side of the business and has had a brilliant first year.

A new website is due to be launched within the next two weeks which is more user-friendly and highly informative. Alex is very excited about the new site and hopes his clients will enjoy the interactive features. There will be links to other social networking sites and a blog to keep users informed of anything happening in the market which may be of interest.
