Letting expert on award shortlist

Maria Lucas, managing director of Southam-based Let Lucas Rental Specialists, has been shortlisted for the Women Business Owner of the Year award in The Property Awards for Women 2011.

The awards celebrate the invaluable contribution women make to the property industry and are sponsored by Zoopla the second most-visited property website in the UK.

Over the last few months, award nominations came in from all corners of the property world from buying to selling, letting to new build and from finance to customer service.

The judging panel brings together many years of experience, wealth of knowledge and eye for excellence to choose the award winners.

The award ceremony will be presented by Karren Brady, one of Lord Sugar’s interrogators on the popular BBC show The Apprentice, at the Innovative Property Show at Wembley Stadium on Thursday November 3.

The show brings together more than 5,000 property professionals from across the UK, and incorporates the Property Awards for Women, celebrating industry successes.
