Lots of food and festivities at the Fine & Country polo tournament

Fine & Country will be hosting its fourth annual polo tournament at Dallas Burston Polo Club, near Southam, on Sunday July 1.

The event, which is open to all customers of Fine & Country has a distinctive foodie theme this year with a festival to showcase local food exhibitors.

A number of polo teams will be competing throughout the day to win the coveted Warwickshire Gold Cup 2012. There will also be a whole host of special attractions for all the family including:

Top Chef Rupert Davis, previously chef to the Thai royal family, will be demonstrating his skills through a series of live food demonstrations. Guests can additionally sample his fine cuisine at a sit down lunch in the Pavilion.

Children’s entertainment includes a bouncy castle and rides.

Warwickshire County Choristers, finalists in the recent BBC Choir of The Year show, will be performing.

A Tattinger champagne and Pimms bar will be available.

There will be a host of other attractions and stands provided by sponsors such as Graypaul Birmingham, who will have a selection of Ferrari and Maserati cars on display; Mallory Court, the only Michelin Star rated restaurant in Warwickshire, will be providing beauty treatments for those in need of a little pampering.

Audley Retirement will be using the event to launch a new retirement village at the old Binswood College in Leamington Spa.

Bang & Olufsen will be displaying their new Play products and Venture Photography will be offering to capture your family experience on camera.

Guests can bring their own picnic and refreshments, or buy food and drinks while there. A barbecue and delicious hog roast will be cooking throughout the day and be available to purchase.

A charity auction is also set to take place with all proceeds going to the Estate Agent Foundation which is dedicated to fighting the causes of homelessness.

Among the various unique lots being auctioned is a signed Sir Winston Churchill speech.

Tickets for a sit down three course lunch in the Pavilion, catered for by Rupert Davis, and access to the VIP section of the Pavilion Members Club are available to book in advance and cost £27 per head.

Guests may also want to go and see the Olympic Torch which is being run through Leamington at 5pm, after the event finishes.
