New lettings agent to offer the personal touch

Lesley said: “I have been a private landlord renting out my own properties for over five years now and have experienced many ups and a few downs during that time. I have managed tenants and properties myself but I did employ a letting agent for a while for a property further afield. I was also a tenant myself for a while, through a letting agent, when we first moved over to Kenilworth from Leamington five years ago.”

Lesley comes from a successful background in marketing, working for locally based companies Delphi, and more recently, Wolseley UK.

Lesley’s priorities changed when she started a family and now, with two young daughters, she is looking for a different challenge. Lesley decided to put her vast landlord experience to good use and launch her own letting agency, with a difference.

She said: “There has been a lot of negative press in the past month or so surrounding letting agencies, especially around the fees they charge both landlords and tenants. Our aim is to be clear and transparent with our fees. In this tough economic climate, where landlords and tenants are more critical of getting value for money from their letting agent, I know that we can offer a great service at a more realistic price.”

“We offer a fresh approach to lettings and by using the internet and other mediums to market properties we do not need to cover the cost of unnecessary high street branches. This enables us to offer landlords and tenants prices that will be hard to beat but without losing the personal, hands on service which I believe is crucial for building trust.”

Lesley is now a fully qualified and licensed member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and a member of The Property Ombudsman.
