Susan heads up Connells’ new lettings service

The decision to open a rental department comes on the back of a successful 2012 for the branch’s sales team and in response to growing demand for rental accommodation in the town and surrounding areas.

The new lettings service will add to the existing residential sales provision from the Warwick Road branch, and the department will be headed up by new appointment Susan Dimmick in her first role with the company.

Susan (pictured) brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the local market to her new role, working in lettings for almost a decade before joining Connells in January this year to oversee the new service in Kenilworth.

She will draw on her expertise to provide advice to tenants, and also to landlords on investment opportunities, buying to let, building a portfolio and renting out a own home.

Susan said: “I am extremely pleased to have joined Connells and to be heading up this new lettings operation.

“Our aim is to establish ourselves as the agent of choice in Kenilworth for landlords and tenants and I look forward to this new challenge.”

Susan is keen to get started in her new position and is enthusiastic about meeting new landlords and tenants in the area.

She believes that effective communication throughout the lettings process is vital in helping her customers fill and secure properties.

She added: “I firmly believe in providing clients with a personal and professional service, making sure that landlords and tenants alike are always kept up to date, and given professional, objective advice about their options.”

The lettings market in Kenilworth is alive and well and the new Connells department expects to see a flurry of activity in the new year.

Indeed, the estate agent is already seeing an upturn in activity this January as tenants and would-be landlords return to the property market following the distractions of the Christmas holidays.
