More than 80 varieties of snowdrops were on display for people to enjoy at Hill Close Gardens in Warwick, which opened its gates for the second weekend in a row to share its snowdrops with the public.

Last weekend, all entry fees were donated to the National Garden Scheme. Head gardener Gary Leaver said: “Hill Close is normally closed at weekends at this time of year but we thought this would be a nice way to support the National Garden Scheme and bring people into our gardens. It was busy, which was good as we have lots of new snowdrops this year.”

Hill Close’s next open event will be its Victorian Easter weekend and Easter egg hunt on April 19. For details: www.hillclosegardens.com
