Warwick’s walled garden has 400 visitors in one day

Nearly 400 visitors dropped in to check on progress at Guy’s Cliffe Walled Garden when it was opened to the public for its first Heritage Day last Saturday.

Trustees’ chairman Dr Barry Meatyard said: “Visitors came from as far afield as Nottingham and Oxford. On top of that we passed 2,000 hours of volunteer work that day.

Next Thursday (Sept 25) will be the next chance for anyone interested in the project at the rear of Hintons Nursery to get involved.
