Foundry Wood, Leamington, doors open 7.15pm, film starts 8.30pm: Leamington Underground Cinema is screening The Blair Witch Project, the film purportedly made from the documentary footage shot by three student filmmakers who disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland in 1994. The organisers will have expert guides on hand to explain the little-known occult history of the Foundry Wood site and the dark spirits that are said to lurk in the wood to this day. Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, 2pm to 4pm: The museum is running free drop-in knitting workshops on the lead up to the ‘Concealment and Deception: The Art of the Camoufleurs of Leamington Spa in World War 2’ exhibition. Leamington University of the 3rd Age Knitting Group - The Woolpack will be giving the knitting workshops. The public will be invited to create knitted graffiti artwork for two of the Royal Pump Room’s columns. The columns will be ‘yarn bombed’ and camouflaged. One column will be yarn bombed with white, blue and grey shades to represent water - the North Atlantic and ship camouflage, as well as signifying the River Leam.
