Andrea Brogaard (violin), Mark Smith (horn) and Rebecca Taylor (piano) perform at St Andrew’s church, Rugby tomorrow (Friday)at 7.30pm, performing works by Schumann and Brahms. Admission costs £5 at the door. Refreshments available. Money raised will go to support the work of Barby Primary School.

Mark Wilkinson, the DJ behind the drum and bass track Afterglow, appears at the Kasbah in Coventry on Saturday January 30. The track, which sold more than 400,000 copies, took both drum and bass and mainstream music fans by storm to reach the top five of the UK chart and attract over 45 million YouTube views. In the two years since his initial rise to fame, Wilkinson has gone on to remix and collaborate with the likes of pop, RnB and dance stars Ed Sheeran, Naughty Boy, Chase & Status, Wretch 32, Katy B, Laura Mvula and Nero. Entrance to the event, which is part of the club’s Tricky Disco club night, costs £6 and tickets can be bought online at www.kasbahnightclub.com or on the door. Discount tickets for those who present a valid Coventry University or University of Warwick NUS card will cost £5.
