A bed in Warwick stable still awaits travelling Bob

Despite some sightings in Warwick, it seems Bob Peace, the rough sleeper who attracted so much public sympathy over Christmas, has not been returning to the bed provided in a stable at the back of the Foresters’ Arms.

The 66-year-old former railway worker who reckons he’s been on the road for more than ten years, was offered not only a bed but blankets, kettles, cookers and a tent as part of local efforts to help him.

Bob suggested most of the items should be passed on to charity shops.
