A personal thank you to Warwick Hospital from volunteers

Volunteers who help run a community shop in Barford had a very personal reason to fundraise for - and thank - the Aylesford Unit, the new cancer unit at Warwick Hospital.

That is because one of the helpers has been receiving treatment there and can’t speak highly enough of care from the staff.

So it was with great delight that the volunteers handed over £540 from the sale of tickets from a raffle they held during the bank holiday weekend.

The top prize, a hamper worth more than £100, was won by Celeste Lees.
