Abigail spots fire dangers in the home
A safety conscious pupil who spotted potential fire hazards in her Barford home has been presented with a Junior Safety Champion certificate and £25 gift voucher on behalf of the emergency services.
Andy Morgan, of the Community Fire Safety Service, said Abigail, a Year 5 pupil at Barford St Peter’s Primary School, had listened particularly well and then acted upon the lessons she had learnt in the classroom.
