Action group will hold walks to help campaign against HS2

PROTESTERS against HS2 will lead walks along the proposed route of the high-speed rail line to mark the second year since the controversial project was announced.

Members of Cubbington Action Group Against HS2 have organised three walks of two, four and six miles respectively which will take groups through areas which are threatened by the project including South Cubbington Wood and the Leam Valley.

The walks will start at The King’s Head pub in Church Hill in the village on Sunday March 11 from 10.45am.
