Appeal for witnesses following serious collision near Napton

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road collision on Saturday November 1 at about 7.25pm on the A425 Nimrod Bridge near Napton.

Officers investigating the incident are anxious to hear from anyone who saw the collision or the circumstances leading up to it.

The vehicles involved in the collision were a black Lexus carrying four people, a red Citroen with one occupant, and a lorry with one occupant.

The driver of the Lexus, a 27-year-old man, the passenger of the Lexus, a 23-year-old man, and the driver of the Citroen, a 20-year-old woman, all sustained serious injuries.

All casualties were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire at Walsgrave.

We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 417 of 1 November 2014.
