Appeal over injured duck
The RSPCA is appealing for information after a female mallard duck was found in the canal near Chesham Street in Leamington with injuries caused by a crossbow bolt.
RSPCA officers caught the duck on Friday August 16. The bolt had gone in to the bird around an inch-and-a-half deep and it had to be put down to prevent further suffering.
