£10,000 reward to help find stolen jewellery from Burton Green

An anonymous donor is offering a £10,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of several items of jewellery taken from a house in Burton Green during a burglary.

The burglary occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday February 21 at an address in Red Lane.

The burglars stole valuables including electronic goods and two sets of car keys.

However, it is the safe return of the jewellery, many pieces of which belonged to a late relative, that has prompted this reward.

Pauline Hadley, Crimestoppers regional manager, said: “Burglary causes immense distress to victims who are forced to deal with the aftermath of having their home invaded and incur the loss of often sentimental, important items.

“This is a particularly upsetting case where several irreplaceable items belonging, or bought by, a late relative have been stolen.”

The stolen items include:

Mens wedding band: 22ct wide barrel shaped gold band possibly showing signs of gold bain when previously worn on chain.
