Arrest after threats to kill in Cubbington
Armed police closed off a Cubbington Road yesterday after a 19-year-old with ‘replica firearms’ was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill in the area.
Officers and a police helicopter were called to Coventry Road at 12.50pm on October 2 where they arrested a man believed to be armed.
Nobody was hurt in the incident and police sized what they believe to be replica firearms from the scene.
The road was reopened shortly afterwards.

Hide AdA Warwickshire Police statement read: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested for threats to kill.
“Nobody was injured during the incident.
“What we believe to be replica firearms have been recovered from the scene.”
