Arrest made after robbery in public toilets

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery which occurred in the public toilets in Covent Garden car park, in Russell Street, Leamington on Sunday March 17.

The incident happened at about 1.50pm within a cubicle of the men toilets where a man was approached by another man with a knife, who demanded that he hand over his phone and cash.

Police issued a CCTV image of a man they wished to speak to about the incident, and as a result an arrest has been made.

The man was interviewed and released on police bail until next month.
