Assembly night thrills hospice

A Leamington music venue and a Warwick hospice are teaming up to try and raise money.

The Leamington Assembly is doing its bit to try and raise funds for the Myton Hospice which provide care and support for the terminally ill.

The Assembly is hosting a Thriller themed Cortina Night on Friday October 29.

Events coordinator for the hospice Sarah Dolby said: “They were going to do a Cortina Night anyway, and we wanted to do a Halloween event so we approached them and they were kind enough to give us 300 tickets for it.

“If people buy their tickets through us then the hospice keeps all the money from it.

“We are encouraging people to come in fancy dress to get into the Halloween spirit, and we will also have a face painter their who specialises in gory cuts and things like that.

“We will be decorating the venue as well and the music will be tailored towards the Thriller theme.”
