Bin fire put out at Lapworth Railway Station

A bin fire in a waiting room shelter at Lapworth Railway Station was put out by firefighters last night (Sunday, April 9).

One Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service fire engine from Henley-in-Arden was sent to the railway station after two emergency 999 calls at around 9.20pm.

Firefighters extinguished the fire within the waiting room shelter and left at about 9.50pm.
