Body found in Leamington canal
A man’s body was found in the Grand Union Canal in Old Town yesterday (Thursday) morning.
A passer-by found the body at the section of canal neat Althorpe Street at about 7am.
Police are not treating the death a suspicious but have described it as unexplained.
The Coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will be held to determine the cause of death.
