A man's body has been found in the River Leam in Leamington

Formal identification has not yet taken place but the body is believed to be that of a 57-year-old man from Radford Semele.

His next of kin has been informed and death is not being treated as suspicious.

The body was found near the York Road Footbridge at the Pump Room Gardens at about 8am this morning,

Police officers cordoned off the bridge while they inspected the scene and ambulance staff were also in attendance.
