Burglars target a number of shops in Warwick town centre

The burglaries took part during Friday night (February 17) and Saturday morning (February 18) in Brook Street and Market Place.

A police spokesperson did not confirm which shops had been broken into but said: “On all occasions entry was gained through the rear doors and once inside offender(s) have removed the various shops float, takings and tips, totalling around £1000 in cash.”
