Cancer patients receive excellent care
Ninety-two per cent of respondents at the Lakin Road site in the national Cancer Patient Experience Survey 2011/12 said their care was excellent or very good, while many other responses in the survey were in the top 20 per cent of results from across England.
Some 90 per cent of Warwick’s cancer patients agreed that staff explained completely what would be done during their test and 95 per cent agreed that they understood answers to important questions all or most of the time.

Hide AdNinety per cent of patients also stated that hospital staff did everything to help control their pain at all times and 87 per cent agreed that they were always treated with dignity and respect by hospital staff.
The results are in the top 20 per cent of responses from 160 NHS trusts that provide cancer services and took part in the survey.
