Celebrating 21 years of help
THE stress of being a hospital patient has been made a little easier over the past 21 years, thanks to the service of a group of volunteers.
Warwick Hospital threw a tea party for those who give up their time to provide assistance to patients by manning help desks and helping with advice and directions.
Of the 57 volunteers, five - Mavis Colburn, Iris Eassom, Rose Jackson, Mary Slowther and Albert Walker - have been helping with the hospital escort service since it was set up in 1990.
