Charity match in honour of 1987
LEAMINGTON FC’s New Windmill Ground will host a charity game this Sunday commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Coventry City winning the F.A.Cup in 1987.
The game will be between two teams of ‘old boys’ representing CCFC and Pottertons.
The Coventry City side of former players will hopefully include several members of the winning 1987 squad including Steve Ogrizovic, Brian Burrows, Trevor Peake, Dave Bennett, Micky Gynn and Dave Phillips.
Kick off is 2.15pm and admission is £3 or £1.50 for children. All proceeds will go Acorns Children’s Hospice.
