Charity walk at Draycote Water will help unique health service

The five mile Wheelchair Event was held last Tuesday to raise money for Reach for Health.

It involved 30 people and many of the people in wheelchairs who have survived strokes also walked for long periods.

Reach for Health is a unique centre focused on helping people recovering from traumatic health events or living with chronic life-long illness, but it receives no funding from the NHS or any other government bodies.

Organisers would also like to give a special thanks to Daventry Motability for the loan of nine wheelchairs for the event.
