Charity will put the spotlight on cancer

A LEAMINGTON charity is following up an event which tackled the effects of depression by focusing on helping people cope with cancer.

The Well Christian Healing Centre, based in Russell Street, held Pathway Through Depression in February.

More than 200 people attended the event and since then the charity has had requests to hold similar support days.

Finding a Pathway Through Cancer, which is taking place at the Leamington Baptist church in Chandos Street on Saturday October 22, will include talks by a range of experts including consultant oncologist Jo Hamilton, Myton Hospice chaplain Stig Graham and Bible teacher Gordon Hickson.

The event will run from 10am to 4.30pm.

Admission costs £25, or £20 for concessions.
