They visited William Stobart Transportation last week to show off their new kits.

Andrew Edwards, headteacher at the Monks Kirby school, said: “The children were over the moon at receiving the new football kit, especially as the year three and four girls are through to the County Finals in Birmingham on March 30.

Now students are preparing for the school’s summer fayre on Saturday, July 15.

Mr Edwards said: “It promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

“The fayre is open to the public from 11am - 4pm and those who attended last year, or previously when it was the Bilton Fayre, will already be eagerly anticipating the day.”
