Christmas treats aplenty for Leamington and Warwick Foodbank

The Leamington branch of Plus One Personnel received a great response to its Christmas Treats collection in aid of the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank. A vast amount of treats were generously donated by local businesses and individuals. Angela Watson, manager of the Leamington Branch of Plus One Personnel, said: “More and more families are finding it difficult to make ends meet. The Foodbank provides emergency supplies for families in need and we were delighted to help this worthy project as part of our commitment to help the local community.”

Andy Bower, operations manager of the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank, said: “Times of celebration like Christmas can put extra pressure on families and individuals who are already struggling to put food on the table and there just isn`t enough money in the pot for extras like Christmas treats for their children and special food that many of us would take for granted. We are grateful to Plus One Personnel for their generous donation to this worthy local cause.”
