Church group carries out maintenance at Bagot’s Castle

Volunteers from a church group near Baginton carried out important woodland maintenance work at the village’s Bagot’s Castle site.

Willing helpers – who were mainly young men - from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church assisted in strimming down weeds and removing fallen trees and debris, along with general tidy-up work.

Bagot’s Castle custodian David Hewer said: “My grateful thanks to the Plymouth Brethren. It was a pleasure to work with the local church lads. They have helped us three times with the maintenance of the Bagot’s Castle site. It is amazing how much gets done in a day with a team minded to work.”
