Cigarettes stolen in Napton post office burglary

Cigarettes were stolen when masked offenders broke into the post office at New Street in Napton on Monday night.

The offence happened at about 21.20hrs when the group of three or four offenders forced their way using a crow bar and kicking the front door.

They were disturbed by two members of the public and made off in a silver Mercedes towards Brickyard Road.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Napton, saw the silver Mercedes as it left the area, or has any other information which might help them with their enquiries.
