The single decker coach was left on the hardshoulder of the northbound carriageway after the fire broke out.

Nobody is believed to have been hurt in the incident.

Engines from Leamington were sent out at about 5pm and the road was closed for around one hour, leaving traffic backed up for miles.

The fire was tackled using help by the Water Carrier, a specialist unit which holds over 5,000 litres of water.
