Community spirit for nursery launch

PARENTS, staff, governors children and Warwick and Leamington’s MP have come together to celebrate the opening of Lillington Primary School’s newly refurbished nursery.

The opening, attended by Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White, was marked by the cutting of a ribbon and a balloon launch.

Derek Fance, Lillington Nursery and Primary School’s headteacher, said: “The learning journey our children go on does not just happen by accident, it comes about through the commitment that the whole community shows to the future of the children. For us at Lillington, that journey starts from when they join the school in our nursery.

“We are hoping to be providing high quality provision for two-year-olds very soon. It was a pleasure to see the whole school community including colleagues from other schools ,such as Whitnash Primary, come together.”
