Country Show next weekend

STEAM engines, beers and a brass band are among the attractions that organisers of this year’s Birdingbury Country Show are hoping will help raise thousands for charity.

The village is looking forward to welcoming large crowds to the event, which takes place next weekend and will be supporting the special care baby unit at the University Hospital in Coventry, Crohn’s and Colitis UK, the Alzheimer’s Society and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Hundreds of exhibitors will be taking part and there will be live entertainment, children’s activities and a beer tent.

The event, which will be well signposted in the village, starts at 10am on both Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15.
