Caroline Bray, prosecuting, said the victim was scared she was going to be raped.

Bull pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual assault and his barrister Jonathan Dee said it was an isolated incident that was “out of character”.

Mr Dee said his client was extremely remorseful and realised it was an “incredibly stupid” thing to do.

Her Honour Judge Adrienne Lucking said the offence was so serious that only an immediate custodial sentence could be given.

Bull was sentenced to 16 months in jail. He will serve half in custody before being released on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders’ register for 10 years.
