About £40,000 worth of drugs seized by police after drugs raid in Leamington

A person has been arrested in connection with the drugs.

Officers from the Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team and the Tactical Support Team executed a drugs warrant in Lansdowne Street yesterday morning (Wednesday).

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "One person was arrested for the importation of a controlled substance, after the seizure of around £40,000 worth of a class B drug.

"The person remains in custody while the investigation continues."
