Arrests made following incident in Rugby

Two men have been arrested in connection with drug offences following an incident in Rugby.

At around 12.05pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 6), officers from Rugby Proactive CID were on patrol when they noticed a suspiciously parked black BMW car on Wilf Brown Close.

The officers stopped and detained the vehicle’s occupants, where suspected class A drugs, money and mobile phones were seized.

Two men, aged 28 and 33 from Rugby, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
