Banned Mercedes driver caught speeding at nearly 100mph near Kenilworth
A banned Mercedes driver was caught speeding at nearly 100mph near Kenilworth.
Officers spotted the driver when he overtook them, while over the speed limit, on the A46 southbound.
Officers at Warwickshire Police's OPU Unit said: "We followed the vehicle recording its speed at 95mph in a 70mph limit. We stopped the vehicle and found the driver was disqualified from driving until April 2023 and had no insurance."
The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to court for the offences.
