Delivery driver in Warwickshire has her van seized - along with all the parcels inside

She was caught with no insurance - and the delivery company is not happy as that means the deliveries have been delayed

A delivery driver in Warwickshire has had her van seized - along with all the parcels inside - after they were caught driving with no insurance.

Warwickshire Police stopped the vehicle today (Thursday) and discovered that the driver did not have the correct licence, as well as no insurance.

A police spokesperson said: "The driver was very keen to make the deliveries. We weren't so keen for her to continue.

"No insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance of a licence.

"You can't drive a manual on an automatic licence only.

"The company isn't happy as all the parcels stayed with the van. Not good if you paid for next day delivery."

Warwickshire Police have also seized a Ford Transit Minibus today at M40 northbound Warwick Services - the driver had no valid insurance.
