E-scooter driver injured after crash in south Warwickshire - and is then discovered to be driving without insurance and driving licence

The rider of an electronic scooter needed hospital treatment after suffering a nasty cut to the head when they lost control and crashed.

And they got another nasty surprise when police took he scooter and reported the rider for driving without Insurance and without a driving licence.

The incident happened on the Stratford Road in Ilmington.

Warwicklshire Police's OPU unite said: "The rider left himself with a nasty cut to he head needing ambulance and hospital treatment.

"We seized the scooter and reported the rider for driving without insurance and without a driving licence."
