How leftover material from a Leamington drugs raid has helped nearby allotment holders

Compost leftover from a police drugs raid has gone to good use - at a nearby allotment!

Following the drugs warrant on a house Plymouth Place earlier this month, officers came into possession of some brand new unopened bags of compost.

Leamington Police said: "Not wanting these to go to waste we took them to the St Mary's Allotments where we were able to donate them to some very grateful gardeners (Jim, pictured, being one) so it can be put to legitimate use!"
