Long Itchington man charged with assaulting a police officer

Police are thanking everyone who shared an appeal to locate Kieran Timms, 27, who was wanted in connection with an assault in Leamington in July.

Following the appeal, Timms, presented himself at Leamington Police Station yesterday (Monday 17 August) morning and was arrested.

Timms, of Stockton Road, Long Itchington, was later charged with:

Assaulting an emergency worker. This alleged incident occurred when officers tried to arrest Timms at his home address on 12 July.

Three counts of intimidating a witness in Leamington in July.

Assaulting a woman in Leamington on 4 July.

He will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court today.
